Village form and character

The tasks for this group include:
  • Assembling base-map data
  • Analysis of landscape character and urban form
  • Identifying development options
  • Producing design guidance for incorporation in the Plan

This group will be responsible for producing maps, plans and some of the material for consultation events. An interest in the history and development of the village is important.

"Community participation lies right at the heart of sustainable development. Sustainable communities will take different form from place to place, but one thing that none of them will be able to do without is a broad and deep level of participation."
